Haus Am See in Ferch

Picked up delicious food there on December 26th, 2020. At normal times we were there too, in summer sitting by the Schwielowsee for ice cream or beer, in winter sitting by the fireplace ate a goose.

Nice location, food tastes good, staff friendly, what more could you want

Recession only for the restaurant. We can't say anything about the hotel. We were often here in the past, the last few visits becoming increasingly unpleasant. On the penultimate visit, the waiter wanted to keep € 10 of our change. Mistake? We thought it could happen ... During our visit last Sunday you were allowed to fill out the corona registration form, but the waiter never came back. At least not to us. All other tables were certainly started twice during that time. We sure _not_ waited too short or are guests who get upset quickly. There weren't even drinks in the waiting time ... When we left, no one bothered. It's a shame about the nice ambience but if the service isn't right we'll say goodbye. Addendum to the owner's answer: Of course we said something and got the 10 € back! But it is uncomfortable when it turns into a "situation" and inquiries come whether we are sure that 10 € are really missing. We were able to come to an agreement that day and unfortunately we came back. Only on the last Sunday then another unpleasant experience then you no longer feel good. We also got the menu, but what good does it do us if nobody comes back to take the order at all. So with "in the shortest possible time" there was unfortunately nothing and the menu wasn't so nice that we wanted to look at it for hours, especially when we were really hungry and thirsty.

The hotel was recommended to us by friends and we were not disappointed. Very nice room with a view of the lake and the food was very good and the prices don't exaggerate either. The staff was always very friendly. If it works we would like to come back.

Above all, you sit beautifully. The food was okay. Unfortunately the spinach dumplings were too dry and the salad was too sugary.

Nice garden and a wonderful view of the Schwielowsee. Tasty food, brisk service, even though they have long distances. Upscale price range.

The house by the lake can be found in Neue Scheune 19, 14548 Schwielosee. It is obviously a discreetly furnished lake hotel. with a terrace and a view of the lake. The atmosphere is very pleasant there. This facility is in very good condition. The drinks and food are ok. The nice team is friendly, helpful, nice and very valuable.

First of all, we felt very comfortable here all around. Unfortunately, the end of our otherwise wonderful stay here is not so well remembered. There is a sign indicating that credit cards cannot be accepted when visiting the restaurant. Ok, not nice and timely, but acceptable. You only find out when you pay that you cannot pay for the hotel by credit card. And on the grounds that Visa was finally broke. And as an afterthought, the fees are too high. That the sales tax cut is only good for the house is something everyone does, but then skimp on the fees when paying? Otherwise (except for the grumpy farewell, no friendly greeting on the way home, no question whether it was liked) there is nothing negative to report. Very friendly, unobtrusive service, good cuisine, good offer, great location. The rooms are not huge, but very tasteful and always clean, the service is perfect here too. The house has earned its three stars very well. If only the farewell hadn't gone that way.

Very nicely located on the lake, with a super well-functioning beer garden and moderate prices. The double room, including the bathroom, is quite small, but sufficient for a few days. Positive, the room was newly renovated. The breakfast is mediocre, but at a price of a little over 90 euros for the double room, it is no longer possible. The hinterland of the hotel could be a bit more chic and well-kept.

We only stopped at the nearby campsite for a stopover. The groundskeeper recommended the house on the lake for a visit. It was really worth it ! Should you ever be on this corner, the tartar sauce must be ordered. Simply unbelievably good.

As I was only a eater, I cannot rate the hotel. The food was great! The waitress and the waiters were very nice and always had a funny saying ready.

Wonderful destination, nice service in the Berlin style. But you mayonnaise with the fish was extremely greasy. People there is still something going on. I'm obviously not the first to complain about that.

Very well located with large outdoor areas and parking. Food is right, as in the price. Very nice service. You can also stay there. Also suitable for celebrations.

Very nice restaurant with renovated rooms and very friendly staff. Berliner Schnauze 😉 food was very good but not outstanding now. But the location right on the lake outweighs a lot. Very quiet, ideal for relaxing. Come again.

Very nice hotel with excellent service. The hotel is beautifully located and the rooms are decorated in a modern style. After almost a week of vacation, we were always pleasantly surprised by the very friendly staff. The breakfast tasted very good. We can highly recommend Ferch as a holiday destination. We look forward to the next time 😊

Fabulous location and great views from the garden by the lake! Parking has been easy next to the hotel. Service was, despite a busy meal period, fast, efficient, friendly. Food is good and portions are very generous... Afterwards one can take a stroll along the lake! Clear recommendation for anyone looking for a nice get away off the beaten tracks.

Rooms: clean, modern, contrary to many reviews, we found the beds comfortable Service: okay, I didn't want me to have my breakfast cappuccino on the beautiful balcony - but it was approved Food: was okay, schnitzel was a little greasy. The fish was good.

Nice bar and barkeeper. Best for some after-work drinks.
